1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Afro Shorts ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Afro Shorts is a curated platform for discovering African and diaspora cinema, including movies and series. The service provides information about titles, trailers, streaming availability, and curated collections. The service is available through our mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Collect or harvest user data without consent
• Impersonate any person or entity

4. Content

The Service contains content owned or licensed by Afro Shorts. This content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on this content without explicit permission.

Movie and series information, including posters, synopses, and metadata, may be sourced from third-party providers and databases. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of such information.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Afroshorts Pro Subscriptions

We offer auto-renewable subscriptions ("Afroshorts Pro") that unlock premium content and remove ads. Available plans and prices are shown in the app before you subscribe:

• Monthly: renews every 1 month
• Yearly: renews every 1 year

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the price shown at purchase unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.

Coins

We also sell "Coins," a virtual currency that can be spent in the app to unlock individual titles or episodes. Coins are a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access content within the Service. Coins have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred between accounts. Content unlocked with Coins stays unlocked on your account.

Billing and Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive or store your payment card details. Refunds are handled by the store you purchased through, under their respective policies. Except where required by law, purchases of Coins are non-refundable, and unused Coins are forfeited if your account is deleted. If we discontinue the Service or remove content, no compensation is owed for unused Coins except where required by law.

6. Advertising

The free tier of the Service is supported by advertising. If you do not have an active subscription, short video advertisements may play before or between episodes, and these ad breaks may not be skippable. Ads may be our own promotional content or ads served by third-party advertising partners such as Google AdMob. Afroshorts Pro subscribers do not see ads. We do not endorse and are not responsible for products or services advertised by third parties.

7. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or streaming services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party sites. Your use of such sites is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Afro Shorts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
